To all members, due to our ever growing list of supported receivers, plugins/update feeds etc... we've had to invest in another Dedicated server with larger hard drive capacity. Due to this Openvix.co.uk will go offline for a short period of time, ViX Image manager will be unable to download images until the next image build.

Feed and Image migration will be done in stages. Our next build 038 will be updated so that Image Manager connects to new server, feeds will remain on current server. Subsequent builds will be updated to make use of feeds on the new server. More info will be posted in due course.

Apologies in advance for any downtime experienced.
 
We've started changing the DNS for Openvix.co.uk, afraid there will be some downtime while the DNS resolves across the web.
 
Hi is the feeds still down? or is it the problem at my end

Upgraded to build 058. Feeds down. Are the migrations complete or still ongoing? Any ETA on a fix?
 
check openvix.co.uk

look at the status on the left hand side, its says updating, so the feeds will be being updated for each machine.

feeds are up for my machine so it could be likely your machines feeds are down while they are being updated.
 
Hi. Icon is green, but feeds are still down. I've been trying to start samba for six days now. Patient, how long? Please, which image should I try?
 
Re-flashed on line yesterday to 059 usb-flashing didn't work. Crashed three times during the process. Everything seemed to work fine though. Now VIX-logo is rotating on the left corner and nothing happening. Should I get my hammer?
 
Hi there,

just purchased a Techonmate twin oe reciever and ive flashed the box twice with the vix image Apollo.070 but it is still not letting me access the plugin feeds.
When i first click on Instal Plugins i get this message;

Sorry Feeds seem to be in an unstable state, if you wish to use them please enable 'Allow unstable (experimental) updates' in "Software Update Settings".

Once i have done this and them click on Instal Plugins i get the following message but only briefly before nothing

WARNING. feeds maybe unstable
Downloading Plugin information. Please wait.

My thought is that it is trying but then timing out to early as i have a vu+ uno upstairs and it take maybe about 10 seconds to load the plugins but that box is working fine.

Any help would be appreciated.
