VMware Workstation 7

I have a macbook pro and recently installed windows 7 on my bootcamp partition. I needed windows xp and xp compatibility mode would not work with the device so decided to do a vmware of windows xp.

It would not recognise any usb devices in the vm xp and usb controller was present. When I connected the usb device, it was connecting to w7 and not vm xp and I was definity in full screen mode

Only used vmware on my macbook, but when you connect, it gives you the option of mounting to mac or windows... If you want to change at a later date, you can just tell it to by choosing from the icons at the bottom of the window... Not used windows vmware for ages tho, so couldn't say...
