    Post Removal of USB Prematurely

I was updating a VU+ Zero, with the latest OpenATv 6.1 . I prematurely removed the USB as nothing was happening, the box now does nothing when it powers on with or without the the USB inserted, The LED comes on but thats it nothing else, no picture on the tv . I feel it needs to be reset to factory, i dont know how to do this. Any help appreciated. The USB is not faulty as it is working with another VU+ Zero that i have. The image i am attempting to update works as i only updated another box with the same image and that box works fine. Thanks

You should never remove a usb when the box is flashing an image. Sounds like you may have done some permanent damage to the receiver. You could try flashing the Zero with the latest ViX image to see if that works?

You could try booting the box with the USB containing the OpenVix image already plugged in, then as soon as the box starts up press and hold the start button until 'FLASHING' shows up on the box screen. Leave it alone until it finishes flashing and it reboots.

If this won't work, try flashing with the Bootloader image first and then repeat flashing the OpenVix image afterwards.

    HTH.
    Kind regards,

    Mick
