Do you mean the Ultimo 4K? No bootloader just flash with the latest ViX image (ViX 5.1.011).

Welcome to the forum. You only ever need to install/flash a different boot loader if/when a manufacturer produces a new one. It is not a regular occurrence.

    Hi,
More confused now! So a bootloader is required!

Are they all the same for the Ultimo 4K or different ones for different images especially if changing from say, BH to VIX?

And where do I find the latest bootloader?

    Thanks johnasat2

Bootloaders are receiver specific not image specific. I don't see the Ultimo 4K bootloader on the openvix site. However that won't stop you installing Openvix. Just download the image and flash by USB - nothing else is required. Also don't update the bootloader unless required - the process does have its risks.
