    Remote Viewing

Hi, is it possible to remotely view my VU+ via laptop from an external location over the internet? I've been able to do it at home both in Kodi and openwebif.
Any tips or a link to a guide appreciated,
    thanks

It can be done, simplest way is to setup port forwarding for the 2 ports need on your router to the VU+ and setup a password on the box. But the thats the unsafe way.

The Best way is to set up a VPN

Thanks, I like the sound of simple but not unsafe. I have a VPN on my laptop, so do I also need to install it onto the Vu+ too?

the VPN on you laptop is prob one of the ones to make your internet traffic anonymous. What you need is the old fashioned type that even though your devise is away from home it connects your device to your local network

Pure VPN will not help in this what that does is to route all your internet traffic through Pure, what you need is your own VPN server so that all your traffic goes via your home network.

To find out your actual speed go to www.speedtest.net
