CustomMix XML Not Available After Restore

    Hi everyone,

Yesterday I flashed my Vu Duo2 to the latest openvix 5.1.002. Previously I was on 5.0.026. I took a full image and settings backup, flashed the new image via image manager and then restored the settings and plugins.

I created my own custom mix xml file to replace the blank channels from satellite with ones that work on cable. For some reason, it seems that the xml file is no longer on the receiver, luckily I had a backup so I just replaced it and re-ran ABM to get everything back to how it was.

Now my question: Is this normal operation for the xml file not to be replaced? Or should it have been restored to its original location?

    Thank you for your time.

I'm guessing backup doesn't do individual settings like that.

I could be wrong but I believe it tries to re-install any extra plugins you had and the main settings file held in /etc/engima2.

As a default, yes that is normal operation.

Any personal files can be added to the Backup Manager. If this is done, it will be included in the backup/restore.

I'll ask if ABM custom files can be added by default.

Ok thanks Abu. Just wanted to confirm how it works but this would be a handy feature.

This has been implemented. Next image will include the files.
