vanishing epg

i have been following the epg issues as i am using cross epg 0.8.3 and cross xmltv providers updated.
box was set to update epg at 4.00,should it be after 6.30?
i can manually download epg and get days of epg on usb when setup first and had issues so switched to internal hdd and still issues.
my epg vanishes from usb or hdd after a day as that what baffles me

My stream epg nightly timer zap seems to have gone downhill of late too. Gaps galore. Annoying.

If you are using Rytec, use EPG importer. Forget CrossEPG.






If you ONLY want 28.2 OpenTV EPG and/or signal stream EPG for DVB-C/DVB-T. You can use CrossEPG.

no i was using 28.2 only have vm in use as stopped hotbird feeds.
ahh noticed i have this clicked.
now wondering if i have a clash in settings?

Your screenshot shows you setup for Rytec EPG data.

You should forget CrossEPG. Disable it, uninstall it.

no not used now,i decided to add pictures to show what i am doing ,importer gives me 0 events but cross epg loads events and nothing is ticked in there?

tomorrow my epg will have vanished again as noted in image 3 and 4 and fully loaded in 9.

You need to use EPGImporter and select your sources and it works just fine. I always use my internal HDD for storing my epg data. No need for the usb method on a box like the ET10K.

i did use epg importer and shows 0 events?
image 5 and 6.
all boxes i use 8gb stick for epg but i also swapped location to internal hdd and same thing happens epg vanishes

If I were you, setup your ET10K with the latest image and setup everything new with no settings or plugins restores. Something isn’t quite right with your setup so starting a fresh and just use the Internal HDD to store your EPG data and just setup & use EPG Importer for your EPG too.

reflashed to 031 and seeing only 1 provider for uk does it include ireland?
