    Tivusat FTA Issue

    Hi All

    I have just setup ABM and i'm having issues clearing any of the Rai HD channels, they are currently FTA but nothing is clearing.

    Rai HD channels are free but you need an official activated Tivusat smartcard to clear them https://www.world-of-satellite.co.uk...ted-Smart-Card

    For ABM how are the frequencies decided as I can view rai 1 hd on 11766 V 29900 3/4 Via a manual scan however unable to clear rai 1 hd that is accessed via abm

    ABM reads the home transponder for the provider. It gets the details from there. They are set by the provider. It then writes the details into lamedb/bouquets.

    For example, a person using Sky IE option in ABM, would get the encrypted version of UK channels. This is because what the provider set in the data tables on the satellite.

    Not sure, I'll ask our coder.

    If the tables on the satellite do not have it on that provider, you would need to scan the provider that has the FTA channels and then import them. You can only import into blank spots.

    Not without hacking the source code and potentially breaking other providers. The only hacks we do are directly from the provider.xml and this hack is not possible to achieve that way.
