Help, mutantHD51 stuck on Please wait

I turned on the tv earlier to watch BBC 1 news, and the video was stuttering, while the sound was ok. Then the video fast forwarded itself to catch up etc. The box became unresponsive or very delayed response, so I turned it off andf back on again but that didn't make any difference.
I then unplugged the box to restart , and now it is stuck on Please wait. It has been like that for the last 25 minutes.

The MutantHD51 box is not even warm as I thought heat might be the cause, so I don't know why it has gone like that now.

Is there anything I should do or try.

Even though it says “please wait” are you certain you can’t press the Menu button on the remote?

Yes the menu button does work ok, and while I had the remote in my hand I tried the epg, but that comes up wit just Radio Channels, and in the top right corner where the pip is , it says something about userbouquet sat something or other.

It does look like it is waiting for the bouquet to load, as on boot up there is a message at the bottom of the screen which again says something about userbouquet.

Pressing the TV button gives Radio Channels header with 2 times Radio Channels in the bottom epg window. Pressing the Radio button gives a big red X

While listening to a radio channel, now press the TV button and go back into TV mode.

When I select either 'Radio Channels', there are 2, it gives a listing of radio channels or station numbers from 700 up,but no actual listing or epg. When I then press the TV button , that just takes me back to having 'Radio Channels' x2 in the bottom window.
In the top right hand corner where the pip is it says something about abm_autobouquet_sat. I can't read or see the rest.

Select a Radio Channel. For example select Radio 1, or Radio 2 etc. Then while listening to the channel, pressing the TV button goes back into your TV Bouquets and should resume on whatever channel you were last viewing.

i think the jist was your in the radio section of box and to press the tv button for tv channels?

It didn't quite work that way, but I pressed BBCR1 then TV button, which took me back to Radio Channels again, so I exited to a boot up screen? with the bouquet message at the bottom, and without the Please Wait. Then I pressed the epg menu button and the tv channels appeared with the last channel we watched.

Very strange how it went like it did as soon as the tv was switched on, but it's working ok again now, and thanks for the help.
