    Changing audio track on iptv

Does anyone know if the audio track can be changed?

I recently bought a new TV (Samsung) which has the capability of playing user iptv links via the smart iptv app. The developers have a website http://siptv.eu for converting your files for use with their app.

I've noticed that the audio track can be set when using the app with LG tvs so I was thinking it may be possible on enigma2.

Has anyone any experience with the smartiptv app & an LG tv?

You can only switch audio track if there is more than one. And as most of this stuff is illegal its unlikely they will go to the bother of providing multiple tracks.

Some of them must have multiple audio streams otherwise there wouldn't be an option on the app for LG tvs.

There is nothing new about switching audio tracks so I doubt it was much effort to include the feature. Legitimate providers might offer the service but even on satellite English language channels don't generally offer an alternate language except Euronews. The facility is there but its not overly used. Yes some foreign channels offer English/Original language when available. What sort of channels are you thinking of?

There's lots of foreign movie and entertainment channels that have multiple audio streams via satellite. I'd got used to flicking through German, Italian, Spanish and Dutch channels over the years but recently I've moved house and have had to give up my motorised system.

I hadn't any specific channels in mind, it's more curiosity than a need. If an LG tv can detect and offer the choice of more than one audio track on an iptv stream I'd like to know how and more importantly can it be done on an enigma2 box.

Are you actually getting the multiple audio tracks on the tv or just the option?

The option is only for LG tv's which I don't have. I was hoping someone with an LG could confirm it works.

Did you try it through the smartiptv app and add the language code to the stream?

    Hi

Right now with IPTV unless the provider has dual audio transmission then I'm sorry to say you have to put up with what the provider offers, I was told
that maybe in the future the may offer such a service , then again some providers use English audio with the own language sub titles if you have a world
wide selection of IPTV channels check them out.
The only other option will be via the CCcam route with satellite channels which some do carry the dual audio which you can switch to
