Very little info on your part to go on. A wild guess points to your a/v settings.

In your a/v settings try 50Hz, 60Hz & Multi for the refresh rate. I alway use Multi, but not always possible due to driver issues etc.

    Hi,
there are no general know working settings. It depends on box, AVR and TV set.

You 4-5 seconds point a bit into the direction of frame rate because this might be the time the box needed to detect the new frame rate and switch to it. Is your AVR and TV capable of showing 24Hz?

    ciao

I see this thread is a bit old,
I have the same issue with the blank screen. when I turn over the channel , it shows a picture for a split second then turns to black screen with sound . Only on some hd "Iptv" content, Though my Vu+ Duo 2 box.
I also have tried a Firestick, which I use with the same iptv provider , same tv and settings without this issue. After doing a bit of research I'm starting to think it could be the Hmdi cable not being compatible for FHD . I haven't exchanged it yet, as its not a normal length 4mtrs.
Hope this helps as it may not be your settings.
