    Tip for the future:

The files you need to change are /share/bootlogo.mvi and /share/backdrop.mvi

I've set these 2 files to be included in backup manager, so a settings restore always brings back the countryside backdrop, which I prefer.

Download to your PC a copy of LogoMatik

    Code:
    http://www.mediafire.com/file/rt9lu8tp3u6mcx0/LogoMatik%5BEA%5D.rar
"De-compress" the .rar file (on a PC most unzip programs will 'un-zip' the rar file). Find the LogoMatik[EA].exe file on your PC and double click to run it.

In LogoMatik add your chosen image(in a jpeg, bmp or png format) into the appropriate boxes and then press the button that says "convert to .MVI" which is the file format required for the boot logo and associated files.

    Code:
    https://forums.openpli.org/topic/45424-logomatike-a-enigma2-logo-program-xorion/
You will have a set of .mvi files on your PC - bootlogo.mvi etc.

These need to be transferred to your box in the folder etc/enigma2/ - and then reboot your box. I use a FTP program (FileZilla) to transfer the files to my box.

I have my replacement bootlogo files in /etc/enigma2 which are also restored on a new image with a restore settings option. On clean image flash from a USB stick without restore I then have to transfer the files from my PC to the box again.
