    Best 4k box for cable

Hello all I'm in the market for a new 4k cable receiver wanted some advice on the best ones I've been looking at the technomate tm twin 4k and the mutant hd51 is there any others I should consider around the £200 mark give or take. Thanks in advance.

I'd recommend getting one with twin cable and single sat. Only the TM and SF4008 can do that in your price range.

How come you'd recommend twin cable and single sat? Do them boxes both upscale to 4k I think I read the technomate does?

Twin cable tuner is better for recording.

People generally comment about what they know about. I don't know about the upscaling.

I have just purchased the octagon for a friend. That supports 3 tuners so looking forward to setting that up. It also supports Kodi and can run IPTV .
Add a 1TB internal hard drive and you can have plenty of storage for those recorded programs. Being a 4K is a bonus...

The HD51, SF4008, TM-Twin-4K all great 4K receivers. Comes down to what you like the look of and your budget.

sf4008 will upscale the picture and you can see the difference, but be aware, you will not get HD or 4K picture

Yeah I'm not expecting 4k quality but the upscaling improves things slightly like all other equipment. Do all the receivers mentioned run Kodi and IPTV?

Technomate doesn't have Kodi. Octagon rumoured to have Kodi soon. Mut@nt has Kodi.

In a nutshell what box would you buy for performance and features and to run cable bearing in mind I won't use Kodi or IPTV unless things force me too in the future
