    Openvix 5.0.0.20

Ok here is a quick one. the above image from openxix has been used on several different boxes and has caused them to have the boot logo displayed plus loose the sound on all the boxes>? now. the pictures are all fine and controls menu et etc. but just says boot on front and no sound. Ive tried various different versions but cant fix. Now all the boxes flash ok but seems to have somekind of fault and only happened since vix ver 5.0.0.20.

just out of curiosity brand new octogon sf8 out packet.. turns on working perfect after scan bbc 1 sound working. brand new scandisk out packet, and different laptop download from vix site sf8 5.0.0.20 xp1000 and flash.

now no sound? and when it boot just says boot.

can someone shed light on this and help?

    cheers

Can you be specific about the receivers you have tried and which image(s)
    Eg XP1000 - I don't think there is a 5.0.0.20 image?

Add a Extrend ET10000 to the list of working boxes with 5.0.020. One thing I did find with a couch flash and no restores that quite a few channels had defaulted to the Audio Description stream. I wonder if the same has happened with the OP and the audio has defaulted to the wrong stream and on a channel with no audio pressing the Audio button on the remote and selecting the alternative audio may solve the problem.
    Xtrend ET10K, 2 x satellite tuners 28.2 (Sky FTA), 2 x hybrid (UK Freeview), Zgemma H9S (satellite)

I know theres no vix for zgemma, it was just a test and another mate just called me after I asked him that his vu solo stuck after installing version 20 with all channels no audio. he thought it was hdmi spent fortune, and tried reverting to dozens of other images and still no matter what you do the audio gone forever?. something in that ver 20 image is causing a effect on the receiver

No ViX 5.0.020 for the Solo either. Obviously you are referring to clone receivers which ViX DOES NOT endorse.

Just to tag onto this. No sound on a Solo2 via HDMI direct to the TV. A reboot is needed to get the sound back on.
