The Vodafone routers used to come with uPnP enabled by default. Ensure that this is turned off. Malware on any device on your LAN can use uPnP in your router to open ports. If you MUST have ports open on your router ensure you do it manually and don't let software do it through uPnP.

Thanks everyone for your input, Just to give you all an update, I done a firmware update and hard reset of the router, I haven't heard anything back from the ISP so it appears to be resolved.

Rebooted everything on network, whatever it was , was held in ram. Ram is cleared after reboot.
