    Irvine Netid not in ABM

Hi how do i scan channels in abm when our netid isnt listed in the providers section?

Irvine is my local area and the netid for it is 42648, but when i scroll through abm providers it only goes as far as 41071 Southampton.

Looks like none of the UK 42xxx numbers were added. They did not show up in any of the logs people supplied.

Can you upload output as per this thread
    http://www.world-of-satellite.com/sh...-required-(UK)

Can you also perform a non-ABM scan and upload your lamedb and lamedb5 file too please? You will need to zip them before you can attach them to your post. They will be found in /etc/enigma2/

When u say a non-ABM scan, do u mean an automatic scan using the netid in the tuner config menu?

Any scan that finds all channels but does not involve ABM or AB cable.

Here are the results of running the nit analyser file. It seems from the files that kilmarnock (irvine is nearest place with a netid) is actually getting its netid from glasgow 1 (00002) but all channels seem to be clearing with an abm scan of netid 00002

It is an impossible task to list every city, town, borough, district or village. We only listed the headends. As you have mentioned, the results show that the headend is Glasgow (NetID 00002).

I found the following NetIDs from an old list. People who think that this is their NetID, will need to run the script too.
    Carlisle, 42650
    Lancaster, 42653

    Glad you are sorted.
