    OpenVIX 5.0.* and HD51 video mode problem.

    I got two hd51's. One is connected to sony receiver and philips tv I and second one is directly to samsung tv.
    In settings i chosed 1080p and multi and change channels then i get black screne (like HDMI is disabled and enabled again). And more and more git this black screne thing without changing channels. Some times picture is lost and got only audio. I tryed every settings and still got problem, even if i chose 50 or 60Hz problem is still here.

    Also tested other images and got this problem only in OpenVIX 5

    OpenVix 5.???? What version?
    They only time I have had some issues like this has been with 2160. tempory black screen,
    I normally run on 1080p and 50Hz through an Onkyo amp and that has always been fine.

    Is this with sat or cable or what? FTA or are using Oscam?

    How have you flashed other images and ViX? Have you used the HD51 multiboot at any time?

    It is probably worth doing a complete usb flash with the latest image and then see if you still have this issue.

    Version is OpenVIX 5.0.018 and tv is 1080p not 2160...
    My HD51 is DVB-S2 + DVB-T2 tuners. In settings i got HDMI, 1080p 50Hz and still it flashes black screne many times in last 30 minutes. Even if i look downloaded mkv file, same problem. Problem is here even if i look FTA channels (dvb-t or dvb-s fta).
    Not today but two weeks ago i tested openatv and theres no problem like this, i don't use multiboot.

    Also tryed complete usb flash, things are still same on both hd51 tuners.

    OK, then using something like fiilezilla, ftp into the receiver and have a look at /boot/STARTUP and tell me what is in that file (you can right click on the file, bring up the system editor and copy and paste the contents into the thread)

    Do you get the same problem when using 1080i/50Hz. If you are in the UK this is the broadcast standard.

    Yep, but I use 1080P/50 on most of my receivers unless using my 2160 monitor, and my HD51 has been using this without issues

    So no issues there.
    Cannot think of anything else, as I have never had the issue at 1080p across 2 different receivers and 2 different TV's ... both via the receivers and direct.
    Are the transmissions via Sat, Cable or IPTV?
    WHich other images have you tried? ... and which plugins are installed on ViX?

    Problem is all transmissions (sat, terresterial and iptv). Even some downloaded video file...
    Not 100% sure but it started after i look some IPTV webcams and tv channels started this problem.

    Exact details about setup:
    TV1 = Mutant HD51 + Sony str-dh740 receiver + Philips 40" FullHD tv.
    TV2 = 10month's older but exactly same Mutant HD51 + Samsung 52" FullHD tv.

    Both HD51 receivers tuners setup is DVB-S2 + DVB-T2 and i'm using mutant's original hdmi2.0 cable.
    If it's really only my problem then i will try once more fresh usb install. Allready downloaded OpenVIX 5.0.020.

    When flash, setup as new & no restores.

    Its worth doing a clean install on one of the Mutants without a settings restore .... and just see if it happens again.
    As mentioned, did have an issue where I would get a black screen for a second on 2160, audio kept going.... but changing from multi to 50 seemed to help fix it.
    The only other thing I could think of is the auto resolution plugin used by some images and has also caused issues for some ViX users

    Finally found solution. It's HDMI 2.0 cable problem...
    Mutant HD51 HDMI2.0 cable and FullHD tv's not working correctly.

    I replaced this cable to my old cable and problem solved.
