    Channel List, pressing menu button crashes receiver

    When I press menu with the channel list up to store in bouquet, vu + duo2 reboots.

    According to your crashlog you are not using build 5.0.018 which is the latest, your crash log states 5.0.001.

    I have same problem, updated my receiver today to 5.0.18 Edision OS Mega

    Can someone else upload a crash log as the other one is apparently shows poster not on 018?

    try the attached file
    put it in /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Screens then restart e2 after it.

    check the pyo has been created and then delete the py file you just uploaded.

    Please do I need to unzip the file before uploading ?
    And how if the PYO is created and how do I delete?

    put the receiver into standby - preferably using something like Putty ..... login to receiver's IP address with Telnet connection and userid: root then init 4
    unzip and copy the .py file into the above (post #12) highlighted directory.... with something like Filezilla
    then reboot the receiver (if using Putty init 6)

    On booting a .pyo file will be created in the above directory replacing the current file ... you can then delete the .py file using Filezilla again
