    Vu+ Turbo Tuner Cable

Does anyone run cable using one of these tuners? I am get little to no signal on any channels where the frequency is above 690mhz.

Anyone else had any similar issues?

You need to purchase a decent splitter. Are you subscribed to vm broadband or TV?

No splitters involved, I’ve tested directly from the cable coming from the brown box. I'm using WF100 cable, I've already changed the isolator to another tratec just in case it was that causing the issue.

All channels perfect signal 90% but as the frequency’s get higher the signal degrades, by the time were up to 600mhz its down to around 40% which is still watchable but once you get towards 700mhz it’s down to less than 10% and is either black or pixelated.

Is this a home made cable? If so have you got continuity between the shells of the F plugs and are the centre 'pins' long enough to make good contact with female mating half?
How to fit an F plug
    Code:

Has your isolator or splitter have any unused outputs? If so they need to be terminated with a 75 ohm load.

I'm using it on vu solo 2 running cable and sly. All cable channels even ppv when they on. No issues. You need either tv or broadband package with vermin for it work.

Iceman what is your setup please?

E.G. Image used, drivers, any extra telnet commands for it to be configured as a usb tuner? etc

Does EPG work for you? Did you need to set the timeshift to 10 secs (I've read this elsewhere).

    Many thanks for your help

Hi bud image is vix 50016. Connect tuner, download driver from plugins on the image and it will recognise your tuner.
Yes EPG works a treat using ABM again from the image. Loads of threads on here how to set up ABM.
No not hat to set timeshift 10 secs? Whats that for?
