    xmltv rytec

Hi, I'm trying to watch xmltv. I've downloaded from epg-importer-sources-rytec poland xmltv it has downloaded over 15,000 events but for the life of me I cannot find them or where to watch them, I've looked in 'favourites' in my channel list and IPTV player but nothing. I've search on here for a solution and virtually the whole of the internet for one so any help would be appreciated.
    My image build is 5.0.016

You cannot watch XMLTV, it obtains EPG/Synopsis data. To show you what is on the channel.

You cannot watch them. The data will be added to your EPG cache in the Random Access Memory. When you deep standby your receiver, the data will be written to epg.dat. Location of epg.dat is specified in EPG settings menu.

To obtain EPG/Synopsis data. To tell you what is on the channel.

    Channel list = bouquet.

Explain what you want to achieve.

I want a full uk & polish channel list to run on iptv to stream instead of using my dish now the channels are disappearing. I'm trying to be careful with my words because of your forum rules

You are confused. please read thread about bouquets/EPG.

ABM creates bouquets for Broadcast services. If you will be using IPTV, ABM is of no use to you.

    CrossEPG only does EPG.

Have you created your IPTV bouquet/channel list?

This is what I want to achieve..an 'IPTV bouquets' that is the same as the broadcasting channels but I don't know if my mgcamd supports IPTV, I could just buy a fire stick or zgemma box but I'm trying to do it on my vu duo box 1st(saving money I hope) So when I go to my favourites all the channels are there as they are now. If that makes any sense lol

As mentioned earlier, ABM is not for that purpose. Forget it.

You will have to create your bouquet/channel list with channel editors like E-Channelizer, Dreamboxedit. Those editors allow you to place services in any order you like.
