A word of caution too, with the new generation of 4K receivers you can only use Oscam for your softcam. The Octagon SF4008 maybe your best bet, at least you could configure to 1x Sat & 2x Cable, then at least you can record & watch on cable. But again with the SF4008 you can only use Oscam.

Is the picture quality worth the upgrade from a Solo 2 or should I hold on to it a little longer.

It will all depend on what tv you have ie 4k or 1080p & what content you want to watch & from what source, myself i use uk cable & some sky uk but i also watch alot of content in 4k from other sources ie my private iptv that includes 4k content / for what your looking for the mutant hd51 from wos with twin tuners is a no brainier / pick up a cheap 2.5 hdd & your sorted.

Ref all the people on here who keep on going on about the number of tuners 2x is more that enough as most people dont record much stuff & its normally when you out & about & as for hdd size 500gb can fit loads of content on it.

Count me out of that comment, it couldn't be more inaccurate if you tried.

Can you elaborate on that comment, please? Or maybe point me to where I can read and understand why.
    Thanks,
