The Logitech harmony remotes blow any and all manufacturer included remote controls well out of the water.

Maybe but which one? The top of the range with very good reviews is around £300. In my case it is better with remotes the other half is used too. Introducing something new would give me weeks of stress.

I use the 650 and 630 both can be bought for around £30 to £60 depending on deals etc and blow every single manufacturer provided remote away.

Is there any slight lag when using these remotes?

You can set them up to have as little or as much lag as you want, at least you can on the harmony one.

My harmony is very laggy. Must be a bad unit as everyone seems to rave on about them.

I have a harmony 700. It lags, then does double button pushes when it decides it wants to.

    TM Nano 3t combo,
    GI LX3
    Mb micro premium
    Solo 4k
    Uno 4K
    DM 500
    DM 800

Rob tried to set it up for me too, same thing.

none that I can think of and both have been in daily use for over three years. On nine different E2 boxes including vuplus, Technomate and gigablue receivers plus sky uk branded receivers and LG, Samsung and Toshiba TV's.

I only use the green Duracell rechargeable batteries in mine and maybe recharge each set once every two to three months and both remotes are in constant daily use with both STB's and TV's.
