Then try a different provider if using a Pay server or try some free streams, works for me.

Yeah free streams will be fine to record, but you are restricted via the other methods as discussed previously.

Ok. Update. I've now done what lincsat suggested and guess what. It works!! Thank you. The mistake I was making was to use a .m3u file from provider rather than the .tv file
Since using the .tv file recordings work. I even tried a timed recording of a stream which works great. Finally I can use updated images. Thanks to everyone who posted on here

You haven't explained yourself very well. Is this solely on IPTV? is it a mix of free streams and others? I can record 2 as well as I have 2 connections. It's not rocket science

How did you change from .m3u to .tv?

Having read some of the comments on this thread I thought I would give multiple iptv recordings a go so tried 4 at once and it worked! It was only for a few minutes as a test.
This was not a paid for sub just some free streams so don't know if that would make a difference.

Yes free streams will work no bother. I'll be doing more testing tonight.

Paid subs are normally locked to the amount of streams they allow some allow 2 streams at the same time and some only allow one but you can purchase multroom connections.

Also I'm not entirely sure how some are claiming they can record and view another on a single connection sub it could be that the server doesn't automatically boot one connection when another is connected FYI if that is the case and the server finds out your abusing it then they can bann you or they are just resellers that don't know that they are actually selling multiroom subs.

Ps mods I've just re read this post and I'm not sure if it's borderline to braking forum rules if it is feel free to delete it and apologies in advance
