Does it perform better when set to DVB n not IPTV? Any feedback would be great as I'm testing IPTV with mixed results via a Channel List I've created from an m3u file.

Makes no difference on the whole. But once I had it set to iptv and sound was well out of sync. Changed it to dvb and that solved it. Echanneliser would not give u malware. Probably coicindence

Thanks for the heads up. I've been having some audio (sync) issues myself so I'll look at changing this to DVB.

Changing from IPTV to DVB in E-chanellizer is only for the EPG.
It just renames the code of the IPTV CH to the relevant code for the DVB CH so it will appear in your EPG.

Thanks for clarification. When set to iptv it flashes up buffering and I've had audio sync, but when using dvb it doesn't do this.

The only difference I see is if the service ID starts with 4097, then it's IPTV mode, if it starts with a 1 then it's DVB mode. Some IPTV services don't stream with the 1 at the start. E_Channelizer never added the correct Service ID for me, I had to do that manually. I recorded several channels at once with just a single IPTV sub, not a multi-room.

To get an OE2 bouquet list, when downloading from a X-C site, just select the OE2 from the dropdown box. If you were sent a link, it probably looks like this
    Code:
    http://host:port/get.php?username=xxxxx&password=xxxxx&type=m3u&output=ts
Try changing to this and download instead

    Code:
    http://host:port/get.php?username=xxxxxx&password=xxxxx&type=dreambox&output=ts

I wonder why it will only let me record the channel I am watching then. As soon as i change channel it stops the recording. But the Recording light is still flashing. I'll try what you suggested. Thanks

im not interested in more than one recording, thats just a bonus, i'd just like to be able to record say a film from IPTV and be able to play it back, without any pixelation \ breakup.
currently i can ONLY do this using an ancient image - Apollo v24

I had build 13 as detailed previously. I'm currently updating to 16 and can try again later. I've not recorded more than 20 minutes of IPTV, so can't say for a full film. IPTV can pixelate and freeze a lot anyway, are you sure the source was OK.

with build v24, i have NO pixelation or breakup whatsoever, when i test with anything current, pixelation straight away on either record, or playback.
definitely not the source at fault.
i will try the changing M3U to Dreambox as you mentioned later on, with a current build, and see if that helps.

I have done loads of testing and it's impossible to record multiple channels with a single IPTV connection, unless you record channels still accessible with the internal tuners from sat dish or cable connection.
