No plugins with a VU+ Duo

I have a VU+ Duo which I bought second-hand a couple of years ago. I've never bothered looking at the plugins before but decided to have a look at what was available the other day. I was surprised to see that there are none. I bought my nephew a Technomate from World of Satellite last year and there are loads of plugins on there. Has anybody any suggestions as to how I can get the plugins to show up? Any help would be really apprecaited.

Please pardon my ignorance if this is wrong. It says Version "Apollo" and Build "153".

You will need to fresh flash via a USB flash drive. Latest ViX image is 5.0.014 which can be found here >> http://www.openvix.co.uk/index.php/d...images/vu-duo/ & guides on how to flash can be found here >> http://www.openvix.co.uk/index.php/g...and-tutorials/
As you are on an old image you are unable to restore any settings so you will be setting it up as if it was a new receiver.

    Thank you very much.

I had a feeling that that is what I needed to do but I needed confirmation from someone who knows what they are talking about.

    Glad you are sorted.

It is best to use the image support section for image issues as problems/solutions are usually the same irrespective of receiver. It also helps others searching for the same issue although they may have another receiver.

Please read the thread in link below which explains things better.

    http://www.world-of-satellite.com/showthread.php?33155-ALL-MEMBERS-PLEASE-READ!-New-method-of-posting-in-ViX-Support-Section!

No harm has been done, no need to apologise. Please bear in mind for future support questions.
