It is time to look at Amazon TV.

Amazon on Tuesday launched its new pay-TV service, Amazon Channels, which allows viewers to subscribe to individual television channels without signing a lengthy contract.

Amazon Channels will be available via the existing Prime Video app to watch on smart TVs, iOs and Android mobile devices, plus through Amazon Fire sticks, sending the programmes to your television.

Here's our pick of the best of the first channels to be announced. Amazon said additional subscriptions will be added in the coming months:

BFI Player+ – Classic British and critically acclaimed movies for £4.99 a month
BeFit UK – Unlimited streaming of hundreds of workouts for £5.99 a month
Discovery – Documentaries and entertainment from Discovery for £4.99 a month
Eurosport Player - Live and On Demand sports programming, including Grand Slam tennis, cycling and winter sports for £6.99 a month

i have had a amazon prime sub for 18 months shared over 4 fire tv devices. and the picture quality is fantastic. There is no reason to think this new streaming service won't be on par, and much better than any dodgy iptv server.

So much doom and gloom about blank screens on 28.2

Ive been into satelite since 1987 ish certianly before Sky even excisted. Over that time Ive had many boxes and many systems. Without any shadow of a doubt E2 is the BEST thing ever to bless the satelite community, sadly alot of people just dont realise just how good & versitile it actually is.

i have 4 things runing on my E2 box

    1, fix dish 28.2
    2, 1m motorised dish
    3, IPTV subscription
    4, kodi 17 krypton

What more could you ever want?

All can say to the doom and gloom blank screen brigaide start learning E2. Sky is most certinaly not the bee all and end all. as many have stated already on here

I'm not an expert by any means. I'm just someone that is prepared to read & learn from this exceptional forum. so could you if you just put some time & effort in......
And just for the record none of my 28.2 channels have gone blank.
Think before posting, it may be the best thought you have ever had

No doom or gloom from me. I have also been a life long satellite enthusiast for almost 30 years.

I am however a realist and Know as a former DEV on this very forum and the ViX image for over 5 years that the UK satellite market these last few years has been overwhelmed by those who's interest only went as far as stealing pay TV via 28.2 east and it's those users who will drop satellite TV like a hot stone now their "free TV" has gone.

    Call me synical..

    But...
I'm starting to get fed up of these posts, moaning about it's all gone, it's all over, because a few channels are no longer open to you.
If you love them so much get a legitimate subscription.

Don't then start moaning that how rubbish the service is, and there isn't anything on.

If there wasn't anything on, why are you moaning it's not there now?
I agree it is expensive, but isn't everything these days?

    Hi

maybe you should take another look at sky they have competition from amazon Netflix bt etc and you can negotiate a good contract, for years I used to pay full subscription without
question then one day I woke up to how to deal with them so I cancelled my subs and that started the offer game up to 75% off for a year was my first offer, since then I have got
18 month contract with full package sports movies etc and a 2tb sky q box with mini box spare room all for 36.00 a month so give it a go.

I haven't seen anyone moaning. People have just accepted it. Don't know where you getting this from?
