Clear before scan is defaulted to off. So scans just keep adding services.

I have a saterlite plugin card, so if blind scan is not available how do I scan in certain channels or missing channels?
Or do I just rescan again and set clear to off?

Blind scan: Blindly look at the satellite and add services found. This depends on the binary on the receiver. It is not perfect. My receiver's misses ashed load of transponders.

Manual scan: Look at .xml file and search those frequencies for services, add them to system.

Manual scan has different scan options. You can scan the complete satellite (as per xml file), you can scan a predefined transponder (as per xml file) or you can scan user defined (you enter the values yourself).

    Action:
Just select manual scan, select the tuner you want to use, multiple satellite, select satellites you want to scan, and scan

    Separate item:
You've not said which satellite. You may not even need to scan, you can use ABM.

    Separate item:
Clear before scan just tells receiver to remove the pre-existing services on the frequencies that you scan.
