    Hi I have a duo 2 running Vix 5.0.0.13.
I today tried to update the ABM config files when it checks for the new files it come back with an error.
    "Incompatible versions 2.5 > 2.6"
Does anybody have an idea why.

there were changes that need two files. if people update configs without the other file they will have a crash.

Nothing significant for users has changed in config files. There is no need to update files.

Check the latest py changes on abm github
    Code:
    https://github.com/oe-alliance/AutoBouquetsMaker/tree/master/AutoBouquetsMaker
click raw and copy all the text and past in notepad and save as same name .py and ftp it to /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/SystemPlugins/AutoBouquetsMaker/(folder)

    So
    providers.py - /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/SystemPlugins/AutoBouquetsMaker/scanner
    Code:
    https://raw.githubusercontent.com/oe-alliance/AutoBouquetsMaker/10c25090011e9de4f7b051e7e6f966cc647e9693/AutoBouquetsMaker/src/scanner/providers.py
    version.py - /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/SystemPlugins/AutoBouquetsMaker/
    Code:
    https://raw.githubusercontent.com/oe-alliance/AutoBouquetsMaker/f8c6fc6f83969fac831a9d1b8025fade50a487a4/AutoBouquetsMaker/src/version.py
Save a copy of the pyo versions to desktop (just in case it doesn't work then you can send them back)

reboot box update config files and re scan abm then delete the py versions from box.

Or wait for vix to release a new update

Sorry abu I didn't see your post

same thing happening for me. I have reflashed an Octogon SF8 HD to the latest image. Then when I press update config files I get the same error message, incompatible 2.5>2.6?

Any ideas as Im trying to delete the channels that do not work off the epg.

Thats correct. You'll need to wait for the next ViX update.

Would it be possible to send us the files we need to overwrite on the previous version of ViX or would our only be to update to the new ViX?

    Thanks

    Instructions are posted above.

I don't see the point in the manual change to ABM. All you'll get is some changes to the tuning parameters. I suppose if we lose more channels an update config file will help. Easier to wait for the image update.

Still not sure why? The update config file works and has fixed the missing channels on my xtrend. Yet is incompatible with the latest image on the vu solo2 and octogon ?

I just downloaded the new updated files of ABM from the Git and copied them over, then restarted the GUI to compile the .py files.
