Best update for Solo2

Hi
I have a solo2 I bought from world of satellite back in 2015 this is still on
Hades 010 and I would like to update , I have looked in the menu and made back ups of my image and back up manager , in image manager there is the option for downloads and when pressed this shows open Vix 5.0.013 at the top of the list

Can I download and install this way , I have oscam working and an iptv working

Is there anything I need to do or make sure I have that will enable both of these to work when updated

You won't be able to restore from any backups made, it will have to be a clean install and everything setup from scratch.

You can install 5.0.013 viaImage Manager yeah. Just highlight the image and press the blue button to restore. But it won't let you restore any settings or plugins restores.

Many thanks for reply, I remember when I set up the box back in 2015 I followed a post about setting up the box ,could you point me in the direction of this ,I have had a serch but could not come across it

Most important thing for you is saving your Oscam config files, so ftp into your receiver and save the files to your computer if you haven't done so already. Guides can be found here >> http://www.openvix.co.uk/index.php/g...and-tutorials/

Everything else can be setup again from scratch & in the plugin feeds you just need to install Oscam-Latest.

Could you point me to the oscam pluggin and instructions on how to load as it's not in the plugging section on the box

It's in the feeds. Menu > Plugins > Green Button > Softcam
