    Menu/setup/Network/Device/Adapter settings/
    Use dhcp=No
    Set an IP address
I always restrict router allocated IP addresses in my router eg 192.168.0.1 -> 99
100 and above I use for static ip‘s
However some routers allow you to fix an IP address in the router setup (e.g. Fritzbox routers)

Another method is to reserve an IP address for a device and this is done in router settings. This is method I use to ensure I always have same IP and I don't have to worry if I update image as it will always have same IP.

You would need multiple user a/c’s for the IPTV for you to be able to watch another channel etc, so basically multiroom a’c’s.

That is not an issue, I can have upto 4 simultaneous feeds. What I am trying to work out is if I just put the IPTV script on the main box and then it works on the Client (I cannot share it this way on say an Emiga2 android player) or the client mode just share physical tuners and I put the script on each machine?

I’m not sure. Only way is to try it, trial & error I guess.

Well the problem with trial and error is I have not got the 2nd box get, If you cannot have the script independently on each box it would mean that all boxes would be limited to watching the same channel, and if that is the case this is not the solution for me and no point in buying the extra boxes

If you have IPTV bouquets set up (through for example Suls plugin which supports many providers ) then they will be copied over to the client and will work as any Bouquet service.
Forget the script (unless you cannot use the plugin) in which case you will have to create the Bouquet entries yourself.

Never used VLC, so no idea what the issue may be.
Maybe the way you have defined the IPTV streams in the bouquet.
However, IPTV bouquets created by the SULS plugin will work in C/S mode..... as have any other IPTV bouquets I created before SULS.

Client mode copies the bouquets from the main box. That means if you run the script on the main box all the client boxes will have a copy of the IPTV, which they will access directly.

Thank you, that means when setting up my parents home when the IPTV changes I only have to update one box father than 3 or 4 sounds life a good solution

I am using VU+ Solo 4K as host and Zero as client. As the Zero's tuners are not being used will it output the 4K signal from the host or does one need a 4K client as well?
