Single tuner satellite - easy to set up

Single tuner satellite - easy to set up. There's only one satellite feed in the property.
I have an Xtrend 8500 dual satellite which is great but was a nightmare to set up I'd like a box that's easy to set up which can record.
    No frills required.

These look as if they would be suitable but I've no idea if they are simple to set up.
    Mutant HD11 Single Tuner £69
    Xtrend ET7500 HD 1x DVB-S2 Single tuner £109

    Any advice much appreciated

Now you learn't how to setup ET8500, the single tuners you've mentioned should be a doddle to setup.

Both HD11 and ET7500 are nice boxes.

It should be a doddle but I set it up 9 months ago and my memory is not too good these days.
Is it worth paying extra for the Xtrend? Is there a simpler to set up system than Enigma 2?

Xtrend is a nice looking receiver with internal HDD facility and nice front display.

Setup with be the same as the ET8500 on either box using OpenViX.

Is OpenVix the easiest to set up? Sorry to keep mentioning this but the ET8500 was such a nightmare to set up that I'm reluctant to attempt it again. The property for the new box has no laptop either which was necessary to FTP some files.

Edision OS MINI at £79 looks a contender too.
As does VU+ Zero at £99

OpenViX compared to many of the OE-A images is straight forward.
All the E2 receivers use an Enigma image, so if you really find this too difficult, then buy a standard receiver from a local shop that doesn,t need any setup but also doesn't provide the facilities that you get with E2 receivers.
It's your choice, so buy something that meets your families needs .. it's no issue or reflection if your technology skills need something simpler .... life is too important to worry about technology
