Which Vu+ box to get for cable?

    Hi everyone,
Had a VU+ duo for a few years now, it's been a great box so would probably stick to the brand. Switching over to VM but struggling to see differences in boxes!

I need cable type (x2) as the missis will go mental if she can't record something on a different channel
Am I correct in understanding the Solo 2 is only twin SAT
Duo 2 can be twin CABLE
...and what does twin hybrid mean? The Solo SE V2 says 1 x TWIN, so would that do the job?

Sorry for so many (possibly lame) questions, but change is never good - been fine for many years!! The Duo 2 looks awesome but pricey if the Solo SE V2 will do the same - and if it does why pay for the Duo2 ?

    Thanks

The Vu+ Solo SE v2 or the one I've just shown you above don't have the capacity to take an Internal HDD. The Vu+ Duo 2 is a great receiver which can take an Internal HDD. The Vu+ Uno 4K would be my choice over the Vu+ Solo SE v2, for the reason being 4K capable and the beauty of the FBC Cable tuner, but you will need to learn and use Oscam for your Softcam as Mgcamd, Cccam won't work on the ARM based 4K receivers, but thats not a bad thing as Oscam is the way to go and constantly being maintained and updated unlike the ancient Mgcamd & Cccam etc.

Thanks very much...that one does look good, think you've made my mind up! Don't mind getting used to something new, I assume Oscam can be made to take a line supplied for Mgcamd. Will do some Googling as I know it's not to be spoken about here!
