    GigaBlue UHD Quad 4K

Does anyone know if World-of-Satellite have any intention of stocking this 4K satellite receiver which GigaBlue claim on their site will be available from 15th May 2017?

That is true of GigaBlue /Reseller, but other German dealers are quoting end of May, so if it's like the Octagon may take time for steady supplies .... and of course give time for any wrinkles to be ironed out.

Nah, that would be going backwards. You need to start and learn Oscam if thats the only reason. lol

I have mgcamd how would you use this on this box? Do I have to "convert" it to oscam or does the provider have to give me an oscam file or setup?

Very new to this, so not really fully understanding.

Can't use Mgcamd or Cccam on ARM receivers. Oscam is the only softcam you can use. Oscam-Latest is all you need from the plugin feeds.

hi thinking of replacing my quad plus with quad 4k (got a new 4k t.v in preparation for xbox one x lol)
any help on learning oscam would be greatly appreciated as my current box is mgcamd.
Am i right in thinking that the Full Band Capture tuner which means it is possible to record many different channels at the same time without the need for additional cables?
nearly ordered one from the world of satellite website but got me confused when i seen oscam, cant find any info on it.
can you get iptv and kodi on this box too?

    thanks in advance

*also cant see an openvix image on the website for this box yet?*

The dual FBC tuners on the Giga 4K give you upto 8 "virtual" tuners A -> H....but you need either unicable LNB or unicable switch to enable this feature, otherwise the 2 tuners act like ..... 2 tuners.
Like any E2 receiver iptv runs OK
Kodi is down as something to be done, but not yet available on this receiver.
There is a due a driver update supposedly over the next few days, but just what is in it and whether it is just bug fixes, features enabled or new features such as Kodi, we will have to wait and see
Oscam - obviously you are not very good at WEB searches...... there is tons of info out there.
    Gigablue Quad 4K & UE 4K

------------------> Gigablue unicable LNB to 80 cm dish(19.2E)
    .......................> FBC & DVB-S2X into 90cm dish (27.5W) Opticum robust Unicable LNB
    AX HD61, Edision Osmio 4K+, Zgemma H9Combo, Octagon SF8008 , gbtrio4k, h9se using unicable ports
    Zgemma H9 C/S into Giga4K
