    plugins section missing

    evening all, I am a total newb to satboxs and need help. i have just set up my vu+ solo2 and i am trying to add my wireless adaptor.. i know i have to download the drivers somehow but i seem to be missing the plugins selection on the main menu screen. any ideas where i can find it? i have openvix installed.

    You will need to be connect hardwired first obviously. Then you would press Menu > Plugins & press the Green button. But my advice to you is keep it hardwired, rig some ethernet cable up n get it hardwired, loads better than Wifi.

    If using ViX, while watching TV you would press the Menu Button then the Plugins will be listed, press OK on Plugins and then you will press the Green Button to Download (or Red Button to Remove). But you need to be connected to the tinterNet.

    i have it hardwired at the moment but wanted to try it with the wireless. when i press menu it gives me a list but plugins is not there.

    Which image are you on?

    Menu > Information > About

    Can you also issue this command and post back the results (link to guide in signature if you need it)

    Problem is either an old image or the picon feed plugin.
