    Tuning Failed Fatal Error

I've improved the signal strength but the quality is still poor I've tried everything.

My meter is giving me a good signal strength and quality but the receiver tells me different.

Also can the signal levels cause the box to lockup on certain channels?

    Cheers

Can you view Sky Select on that TP without any breakup?

Are you connecting meter at by Dish or where receiver is?

I've had sky select on for a few minutes now and not a single breakup.

I had it connected at the lnb but tried at the receiver end and still get the same strong signal levels as I was at the lnb

Fresh flash with no settings/plugins and on a automatic scan i'm getting a different signal strength/quality on sky select. Also the channels have stopped locking up, would this be my custom bouquets?

Can someone help me out on this please.

Octagon sf4008 I'm getting tuning failed fatal whilst scanning sky Deutschland in ABM

Edision mini is scanning fine and channels working, signal strength 91% signal quality 90%.

Both using the same dish and same cable coming from the lnb.

    Unzip the attached file.
    Contains a file called main.pyo.
    Place that file in /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/SystemPlugins/AutoBouquetsMaker/scanner
    Restart the box.
    Scan Sky DE again.

Hi, I have the same problem on a h2h using cable. If I use the attached zip file, will it sort the problem. Abm says tuning virgin uk then says failed to lock onto frequency.

    Khan888.
I had this error setting up a box recently when running ABM for the first time. For me it was because I had a tuner enabled ie configured ie I had set Tuner B to be like Tuner A when there was no physical cable attached to that tuner input at the back of the box.
I set it to "not configured" - problem solved.
My setup is similar to your with a disecq switch bringing together 28.2E and 19.2E but that is I believe academic.
If you do have a cable attached maybe the settings are switch wise or otherwise that "effectively" there is no cable there ie that tuner cannot see a LNB to tune to and so ABM gives the error.
