    Andy, you are correct about ViX, but stop apologising for the person that imposed this restriction...
    I have historically couch flashed all my boxes (ET8500, SF4008, Gigablue 4K, Mut@nt HD51) and have never had an issue ..... unlike usb flash..... and I couch flash at times several times a day when I am testing something... without failure. On the HD51 there is even no need to flash over the current live image, so what is the problem?

    Usually I keep quiet but this situation is down to a lack of understanding (I believe) in how ofgwrite works... and the person concerned should re-evaluate his position.
    Gigablue Quad 4K & UE 4K
    .........FBC Tuners:
    ------------------> DUR-Line DCR 5-1-8-L4 Multiswitch to 1.5M dish(28.2E)
    ------------------> Spaun SUS 5581/33 NFA Multiswitch to 80 cm dish(19.2E)
    .......................> FBC & DVB-S2X into 90cm dish (27.5W) Opticum robust Unicable LNB
    AX HD61, Edision Osmio 4K+, Zgemma H9Combo, Octagon SF8008 , gbtrio4k, h9se using Legacy ports on multiswitches
    Zgemma H9 C/S into Giga4K

    Twol please share this secret, I have held back updating to 5.0 on my solo4k although I have tried several usbs and failed hopelessly, even my trusted one not having it.

    @Abu

    Will this work with the solo4k? Is there a guide or is it straight forwards to do?
