    Voice over/dubbing setting

The other half is watching Corrie and there is something like a voice over saying what is happening, like 'there is a knock at the door'

What setting is it to turn that feature? off

Would it be anywhere in the Audio /Subtitle settings.

Turn it off then. Menu > Setup > System > Auto Language Settings > Change "Prefer Audio Track Stored By Service" to No & Green Button to save.
A forum search would have given you this answer.

Thanks, that should do it now.
It was the same with the humax freesat box , in that it did the same thing when corrie was on, and I couldn't remember what it was called to switch it off.

What I find with those settings that the language will revert to the broadcasters language eg Spanish or French .
And the screen advice says "if set to yes it will automatically use the audio you selected before" (stay on English if you change channels and come back to previous channel) if I set it to "no" it will revert to Spanish. On English language stations "BBC" C4 etc I find that if I change to "NAR" then the Audio Discription comes on and to make sure I press "audio" and select option that says "English"

Nope, proper way is my recommendation. Yours is just temporary solution. Mine fixes over all the channels, not just individuals like yours.

    Auto Language settings......

Change Audio Language 1 to English. (top line)
    Set Prefer AC3 to Yes
Set Prefer Audio Stream Stored by Service to No

    Press green to save.

That will fix narration on all channels....for 28.2 degrees east alteast.

I respect your knowledge, and look to this forum for advice and help, however when the box is set to "Prefer audio track stored by service" to yes e.g. on Spanish SD channels the language will stay on "dos" (English) when you return to channel, if set to no it will revert to Spanish. please see screen shots

What is your suggestion that my box reverts to "spanish" etc when set to "no" and stays on "english" when set to "Yes" as per the box's settings/instructions tell me to do?

Have you setup as per my settings and Green button to save? Bearing in mind you need to setup as per default then make the adjustments as per my instruction.

Yes, I have and if I set to "no" and pressed green when a channel is changed up or down or box is switched off and on again the language will revert to "Spanish"
When set to yes the language will stay on English at all times. I have seen this mentioned on other threads here and I have changed it to your instructions but the box will always go back to Spanish or whatever the broadcaster's language is. (Of course I am talking about channels on other satellites other than Sly 28) This is what I can’t understand that the box’s instructions are opposite what you are saying?
