    vm broadband general question

    can someone please tell me if you have to use vm modem and broadband on my gigablue box or can i use other modem and broadband provider

    Why would you think you need VM internet to watch Television?
    VU+ Ultimo 4K 3TB, 1x Twin DVBS-2 FBC / 1x DVB-C FBC/ 1x Twin DVB-T2.
    VU+ Solo4k 2TB, 2xFBC-S2, 2xC/T2, 1x Sundtek .

    I have two feeds into my home. Virgin and Talk Talk. My Duo2 only works on virgin. On TT I can access the box across the network but the decoding just doesn't happen. I haven't investigated this at all so these are just my findings and it doesn't mean that it won't work on anything but virgin.

    will the cable still work if i cancel virgin broadband and phone and use another internet provider .

    Yeah you can just pay for Virgin TV and use another provider for your Internet & Phone.

    You won't be able to use DYDNS or Noip back into your network, talktalk prevent this with their own router, though you can get around this using third party router.

    Thanks for the tip. I will note that. The TT line is for my business so it has a robust Draytek firewall router. It may well be blocked there too.
