    5+ months and the "very soon" has hit the OE-A, so Kodi is coming to the SF4008

    Except that it takes 6 minutes to zap to a channel on a motorised dish.

    Is that using a DiSEqC motor ?

    Because with my Vbox there is no problem connected to the new type tuner.

    Yes finally I saw update mentioned Kodi support so I installed it. But can't find Kodi anywhere... something missing? Or will it maybe come through next update?

    Not sure why people get so exited about Kodi. This is a satellite receiver with missing features like blindscan.

    Kodi is great as I can stream channels easier such as british freeview, use the unit as mediaplayer (have issues with audio now) and so on. Maybe i can retire a few boxes if Kodi works as it is supposed to. The SF4008 becomes more versatile.

    And i want blindscan too hopefully it comes some day.
