    IPTV Player 24fps mode

    Hi everyone,

I find that videos played through IPTV player are slightly choppy/jittery (particularly during panning scenes). I have just discovered that this is due to most videos being shot at 24fps and IPTV player trying to playback at 50fps. To make video playback smoother try the following:

    While a video is playing, press Menu>Video options>Video mode>1080p24.

My question now is if there is a way to make this setting default?

Thanks for the reply. Just tried this, but it defaults to 1080i50.

    Hi,
simply set frequency to multi in AV settings should be enough. I played quite some 24fps files with OpenViX and without jitter.

btw. which box are you using?

    ciao

I'm using an Edision OS Mini+.

With these settings, default playback for all videos is 1080p50 and with Sicilian's suggested settings default is 1080i50. Neither automatically change the refresh rate to 24fps.

Never mind though, at least I can go in and change it manually.

Please post exact step by step how to replicate. Exact addon in IPTV player and stream being played.

    Example:

    IPTV Player>yify>Popular>All>Captain America>Mirror 1>1080x1920

While loading up, bottom right confirms that it is a 24fps video.

    Menu>Video options>Video mode

    Coming up as 1080p50

    Have to select 1080p24 manually

Is this within IPTV Player itself? Sorry never use it. Just need all details to we can test. Auto-resolution may need to be adapted.
