    Lost zee on Enigma 2

    Hi All,
Found something interesting. My Enigma 2 boxes have lost Zee channels.
Plugged my Enigma 2 box blind scan on 28.2e and lot and behold zee working.
Tried rescan on Enigma 2 and blank page. Any clever person out there figure that out ?

When you scan conventionally, the satellites.xml is queried and those transponders are checked for services. If a transponder is not listed in the xml, your receiver will not find the channel when you perform a conventional scan.

A blind scan, as the name suggests blindly checks for transponders and what is on those transponders.

Plugins such as AutoBouquetsMaker and AutoBouquets 28.2 do not perform conventional scans, so they do not read the satellite.xml file.

You can also manually scan the transponder, 11656, Vertical, 22000 5/6.

Yes I am aware you can scan frequenies. But on enigma 2 miracle box zee channels are just blank. Yet on Enigma 1 dvb500hd they clear and you get perfect picture. Is it something in enigma 2 which is a problem with sly encryption.

If they work after a blind scan it is nothing to do with encryption.

I have found my enigma 2 boxes zee tv, zee cinema and zee panjabi do not work. No matter how you scan the channels. However on Blade 7000s, Dvb500hd and Dm500s the channels are working. Can anyone help me in getting zee back on enigma 2 boxes back. I have miracle box ultra premium and Trend boxes.

Why are you showing signal details for 12207? Zee is on 11656 Vertical 22000 5/6

This is an issue on all my friends boxes who have Enigma 2 boxes such Extrend, Vu +Duo,
All non enigma boxes such as Ferguson 202e, 300, have no issues with zee channels.
I also have enigma 1 box dvb500hd and this has no issues with zee channels.

We are going to go around in circles until you post a screenshot of signal finder showing 11656 Vertical 22000 5/6. If you don't want to post a screenshot, just say so.

Might be an idea to also post one of 11836 H 27500

If there is a problem doing so, just say so and people can help. Here is a thread on how to get screenshots

Download the attached files and extract/unzip them

If you have a satellites.xml file in etc/enigma2, delete it

Stop receiver using "init 4" command.
See here if you need help doing so: http://www.world-of-satellite.com/sh...Linux-commands
Transfer the lamedb file you unzipped to /etc/enigma2/
Transfer the satellites.xml file to /etc/tuxbox/
Use "init 3" command to restart the receiver

If you are looking at this post after 19/04/2017, download latest satellites.xml from
    Code:
    http://satellites-xml.org/
