    Dual-Tuner with 2 Twin-LNBs setup

    Hello,

    I'm going to install a dish with 2 Twin-LNBs (13 and 19.2 multifeed) and connect it to my Vu+ UNO receiver which is upgraded with the second tuner module.
    My goal is to watch and record two feeds independently, from the same sat or from different. If I understand correctly, I need two 2>1 DiSeQC switches, e.g. Spaun SAR 212. Will the following setup work?

    Tuner A: DiSeQC Switch 1 -> LNB 1.1
    -> LNB 2.1
    Tuner B: DiSeQC Switch 2 -> LNB 1.2
    -> LNB 2.2

    Thanks!

    Hi there,
    I have a similar set up to what you are describing, though for 19E/28E. The installer will be able to recommend a suitable size dish depending on your location. Re. setup, I have 2 Inverto black twin and two 4-port DISEqCs (2-port would be fine but installer claimed the 4-port were more reliable). Each DISEqC will combine one of the output from each LNB, just as you're describing. So yes, your set up should work perfectly.
