I think because you hinted that you want to watch premium channels through cable which is not allowed.

What he did say was did say was could he watch premium cable with a subscription to Virgin.

I take from that he wishes clarify if by paying a legitimate subscription to Virgin media and can he then use his box in place of the Tivo box. Much like using a genuine sky card subscription.

Of course i may be completely wrong

Discussions of watching VM premium pay tv channels, subscription or not, is not allowed on this forum unless discussion is about an official VM box.

Sorry all. Wanted to know was what dvb-c tuners were for as the owner of the site was advertising an new TM 4K box and I didn't know what the tuners were for, now after asking on other sites I understand, but feel that all that was needed was for a mod to state what they were and that talk about them was not allowed instead of just closing the thread.

    Thanks all

The least you should expect is a PM to the OP of the thread saying why it had been closed down, Thats what I used to do, or better still post a note in the first or last post with a brief explanation.

PM the site owner with a forum suggestion about mods giving a reason in threads as to why they have been closed and see what he says. Thats the only way things get done around here, bypass the mods and go directly to the owner Sicilian.
