Duo 2 with 2 dual tuners problems.

    Hi guys,

I've got a VU+ Duo 2 box with 2x dvb-s2 dual tuners and 4 lnb cables coming from my satellite but I can only record 2 things or watch 1 and record another when I try to watch or record a 3rd it says no free tuner. If I go into setup-service searching-signal finder it only shows tuner a and d, I have tried changing all the lnb wires into the back and I only get tuner a and d, is it something I have done or is there any settings I need to change.

    Thanks

What does it say for signal stength for each of the tuners.

When you select one recording, are all channels active or are some greyed out.

Can you take a pic of the cable and tuner from the back

    Tuner configuration screenshots are missing.
You may wish to take screenshots using this guide:
    http://www.world-of-satellite.com/sh...o-attach-files

    After obtaining those screenshots,
    Label all the wires, W1, W2, W3, W4.
Disable all the tuners (set to not configured)
Connect W1 to Tuner A (top slot of tuner card in slot A)
Configure Tuner A as simple, single, automatic.
    Does it find 28.2?

Repeat with W2 connected to Tuner A, does it find 28.2?
Repeat with W3 connected to Tuner A, does it find 28.2?
Repeat with W4 connected to Tuner A, does it find 28.2?

    Shouldn't Tuners B, C and D be set to "Equal to A"?
I'm only new to this and I've just set up my Duo2 with 1 dual tuner, and I had to set tuner A as normal and then set Tuner B to "Equal to A".
When I had them both set up similar to you I couldn't record while watching a different channel.
