    Flashing Problem

    Hi,

I have just tried to flash my Uno4k with Openvix 5.02 but seem to have run in to a problem. I downloaded the image from the openvix website then on zipped the file and put the vuplus folder on to a USB stick (FAT32) and then the stick in to the back of the box. I powered the box and waited for 10mins (this was advised in the guide) I then powered off and took the stick out and powered back on again. So here's where the problem is everything boots up and the first screen that asks me which input I'm using (HDMI) I can confirm it just says there doing nothing! Any ideas of what I can do?

    Thanks
    J

Try powering off and powering back on again. When you say doing nothing, do you mean your vu+ remote is unresponsive? Have you tried using WebIf to see if using that remote works?

    Hi Andy,

    Thanks for your reply.

Someone had suggested this in another post and yes it worked! I had changed the remote mode so I could use my LG remote from my TV but that meant the Uno4k remote no longer worked. Webif worked great and I'll remember that the next time I update my firmware.

    Thanks again for your help
