    Hmmm, thanks for that I will reflash it and take a look, there definitely wasn't an option in settings/setup for remote ?

    Dont use the settings in the webif - use the remote control in the webif to go into the receiver menu (settings->remote control code)

    Okay mate, thank you, I will try that but I'm certain there's no remote settings option anywhere ? Might just bite bullet and buy a new remote...

    Definitely no remote control code options in any settings on all images I have tried... any suggestions please ????

    No. You will see a picture of a remote control on the left hand side. Just click on the buttons on the picture and it will act the same as a hand held remote. This way you can get into the menu on your box which will show up on your tv.

    Still no joy with the remotes, when I turn off the box at the back the remote works temporarily, could i have an hardware issue ?? Any help would be great as I am at my witts end now. Thanks

    Your front display panel is faulty according to the other thread. The remote sensor is on the front panel.

    No I didnt to be honest because the box boots up normally and thought it wouldnt if that was the issue ?
