    Tuner failed ?

    My son in laws Edision mini had a 'tune failed' message on his box. Got him to check his cabling etc but no joy. Brought the box to my house and the same thing - so this ruled out his cabling/dish/lnb etc.

    I re-flashed via USB and set up from scratch - same problem.

    Can I safely assume the tuner is kaput ?

    Have you opened it up to see if the tuner has come unseated?

    No it's fixed. The tuner has failed and the box sent back to WOS
