    Vu Zero won't update EPG

Hi there, bought a Zero from WOS about a month ago, got a USB stick with it, it has the latest version of VIX installed, there seemed to be an issue with updating the EPG from day one, the EPG never seemed to be fully populated, I have a Solo 2 that is running an older version of VIX and it has been perfect since day one with no issues, I've tried to replicate settings but the Zero doesn't want to play ball, one thing I did notice when mounting the USB stick is the Zero identified it as an HD.
I have followed a few guides but they don't seem to help, If I go into plugins and crossepg downloader the Zero doesn't download anything, I get the Vix sign circling in the corner for a few seconds then nowt, whereas the Solo 2 works a treat doing the same thing, any help you guys could give a newbie would be greatly appreciated.

    Cheers

can you see a epg.dat file in there.

unplug it, put it back and mount it. then download cross epg again & see what happens. otherwise wipe the usb and stick back in and download cross epg.

I had issues on my zero when I first bought it. for some reason it never like usbs and decided to get a external HDD, never had issue after that

Tried what you suggested, another USB stick and finally changing the storage location to internal flash and still crossepg won't download, not keen on the Kingston stick I got from WOS as my pc won't read it but I think that might be whats been written to it from the Zero, any other ideas guys..?

Have you got drive connected to your PC via USB?

Or you can't view it on the network?

If your trying to connect it to your Pc via USB then it won't recognise it If its a windows PC.

The drive when you initialised it on the box was formatted to EXT4 which is a Linux format not recognised by windows pcs.
