    How to copy the technmate external IR sensor cable

    I would like to hide my vu duo away and just have a external IR sensor lead exposed. Im sure this couldn't be that complicated. Is it just a matter of getting appropriate IR cable and soldering it to the IR sensor within the front panel?

    The only downside is that there is an annoying red led in the receiver but you can prise the case apart and put black tape over it.
