Oscam - recordings and epg problems

Got alot of problems with oscam, changing channels makes it switch off automatically
Anyone else got this problem ?
Is there a solution ?

I also got alot of problems with recordings : slow picture when starting the recordings, alot of faults in the picture also.

Problems with epg : got 2 HDD, 1 built in and an external, epg is being saved to external and often when the box reboots or GUI restart, the epg is gone. Tried with saving epg to internal HDD but same problems.

I assume you are on openatv for that box. i had same issue a week back when I was setting up mine, but sorted it. setup your softcam, don't use emu one. once done, restart box. and go to oscam webif, see f things working from there, if not, restart from webif

I would try Ncam 1.1 its been rock-solid for me on the sf4008

also my recording are slow by a couple of seconds but then is fine. use internall hdd for epg

how does ncam work ? EPG on internal HDD gave me the same problem.

Box type I was referring to is correct. I have protocol newcamd rather than cccam though
